Dr. Jay Patel is a renowned expert in Arthroscopy, Sports Medicine, and Reconstructive Surgery. He runs the exclusive Jay Orthopedic Hospital and Arthroscopy Center, a clinic dedicated to orthopedic subspecialties focusing on joint problems, ligament injuries, and sports medicine, particularly of the knee and shoulder. It also addresses issues related to the ankle, elbow, hip, and wrist. Dr. Jay earned his Master’s in Orthopedic Surgery from the prestigious B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad. From early on, he showed a keen interest in arthroscopy and minimally invasive "keyhole" surgery. Following his M.S., he served as a senior resident at Asia's largest government hospital, Civil Hospital Ahmedabad. He later pursued advanced fellowship training in Arthroplasty, Arthroscopy, and Reconstructive Surgery (F.A.R.S.) in South Korea from Professor Nha Kyung Wook, a renowned expert in knee preservation and ligament surgery, focusing on complex knee preservation procedures like HTO, DFO, TTO, and multiligament surgeries.Additionally, Dr. Jay trained under Dr. Lee HJ and Dr. Kim Yang for advanced shoulder arthroscopy and elbow ligament injury management.Dr. Jay has undergone 3 years of training in arthroscopy and ligament injury surgeries by Dr. Chirag Chudasama, Dr. Daivesh Shah, and Karnav Panchal in Ahmedabad. He has 2 years of specialized training in complex joint trauma and knee replacement under the guidance of Dr. Bipin Shah. 5 junior doctors are getting training under Dr.jay.
